A very decorative antique Yamut Turkmen Ensi rug with symmetric knots. Wool on a wool foundation. This rug has two very unique borders, with a very decorative Elem at the bottom end. All sides and the kilim at both end are original with small old repairs at the side edge - see images. Mid 19th Century. Size: 1.72m x 1.44m (67ins x 56ins)
