19th Century Kurdish rug with great colours, long pile and a heavy weave. I am still trying to place this piece.
Origin: Northern Persia
Size: 208 x 132 cm
Date: Late 19th Century
Condition: Both ends are missing a minor border. There are a couple of small repairs to the ends and a larger (3.5inch x 4.5inch) repair to the main field. The brown pile has corroded but otherwise it has full pile and complete selvedges.
