Luri
This is a busy little rug full of interest. Three vases decorate the central spine surrounded by geometric and floral motifs. There are a number of figures on the rug, one in each spandrel and a small family in the main field. The colour palette is unusual with a dark red, gold and a bright green.
The borders are simple and inobtrusive which allows the main field to blossom with its lively scene.
