Mohtasham Kashan Rug
This Late 19th century is a very finely woven rug from the workshops of the master weaver Mohtasham, the rug is made with very fine wool which is called( Kurk )from softest area of lambs neck with special purple silk on it is edges ,amazing background colours in ther field and borders as you can see and feel it on the photos.
Origin: Kashan ,Centre of Iran
Size: 217 x 142 cm
Date: 1880-1900
Condition: in very good pile and condition.
