For me this rug has all of the right elements the most important aspect being colour. The contrast between the dark blue background and the combined light and dark reds that pepper the field in large abstract motifs is very special. The centre is dominated by two large vases at each end with a rich light blue. Stars and flowers link together filling the rest of the field. The wool is soft and full piled. Altogether this is very decorative item in very good condition.
