Finely Embroidered Kashmir Shawl

Dating to the early 20th century this finely worked wool and silk shawl has magical colours and a translucent quality. The repeating botehs are drawn in a restrained manner and appear to be floating above the shimmering surface. The choice of colours is extremely attractive, especially the pale purples and greens.. In excellent condition. This is a lovely piece worthy of the term 'textile art'.
